Searching  “Peshawar” on Flcikr gave me  some 7000 photos, and I thought I’ll post some of the photography I liked. These numbers are not encouraging and I think there should be a lot more from this city with so many tales in its streets and markets. May be someday I will pick my camera and start shooting. I don’t watch TV. Who has the time? When 60% of what comes on tube is ADs. Yesterday I tried the opposite and ended up watching Sami Shah program “News Weakly” on DAWN NEWS. Clips from episodes are on youtube. Sami Shah has also blogged about the show. The lawyers movement was hilarious,especially when he joins the lawyers in their party. Don’t miss it.

PTCL ka ahsaaan

I had registered an order for a new landline connection on 24th of the last month. Yesterday someone from company showed up and installed the damn thing after 20 days. According to lineman, PTCL has not provided him with coxial cable, and he is using his PERSONAL cable. Can somebody explain it to me, WHAT IS THIS PERSONAL CABLE?

First off, the logo is in no way even near to expressing it’s service, it’s like solving a mystery, putting bits together to complete the whole picture, like we’re investigators..

Then it has too much gloss on it, and too much glass, and thats on a puzzle, puzzling ain’t it ?

It has a poor choice of type selection, and add to hat the colours of the text used don’t stand out much either, specially, the green on ‘dot’ makes it fugly.

Also it has a childish approach in type ‘LINK dot NET’ I mean had that been written with a good sense of type, it may have looked mature and appealing and a part of the logo, but right now, looks like this logo was made by a 15 something year old kid, who just wanted to get his/her hands dirty with photoshop, or any other software for that matter.

Sadly doesn’t even qualify to even be a logo.
